ENGLISH LANGUAGE CHALLENges
My experience learning English at University started when I gave a test to evaluate my English level at the beginnign of the first year of Public Administration. At first, I was scared because my English classes in school were very basic and i thought that university would have a extremely high level, but for my surprise it wasn't like I expected.
I don't think that my English is good, but at least isn't that bad. I think that the use of blogs has helped me a lot to improve my English level since i started to write them. Now i know more words than at the beginning of the semester because i have used them in my blogs.
However, I still have to study more because I want to keep improving my English. I think that the aspect I have to study the most is reading because I want to study a postgraduate and most of the books I'll have to study are written in English.
Outside the English class I try to improve my speaking talking with my sister who is studying to be an English teacher. I try to spend at least ten minutes per day by doing anything that involves the English language, mostly in videos and memes. Now that holidays are coming I'll start to read books in English to improve my reading because this year I had to read some texts that were wrote in English and I couldn't understand them and I don't want to have the same problem next year.
What fun to have someone with whom to practice English frequently
